Charles Cory King, 22, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on November 14, 2000, to Danielle Branch Lewis and the late Cory Ray King. Cory, as he was affectionately known, was a free spirit with a big heart. He loved his family deeply, and always liked to be the center of attention. Cory had expensive taste, and enjoyed life to the fullest. He listened to a variety of music, including rap, classic rock and even a little Beethoven. In his spare time, Cory liked to cook, shoot guns, and hang out with his friends, playing video games and enjoying Hennessy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Cory Ray King, Cory is preceded in death by his sister, Maddie; grandmother, Linda Branch; and an uncle, Justin Huff.
Left to cherish memory, Cory leaves being his mother, Danielle Lewis (Jason); grandparents, Kim and Kenny Hilliard, Buster Branch, Tina Harp, Nancy Murphy, and Orville and Karen Kiper; aunts/uncles, Christy and Tim "Nails" Branch, Nick and Carnella Branch, Keith King, Craig and Martha King, Kenny King, and Tiffany Mulrooney; cousin/bonus sister, Skylar Huff; and an abundance of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
