Patricia Alberta O'Neil, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025. Born on February 4, 1950, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Salmon and Mabel Lewis Salmon.
Patricia was a retired cashier, known for her sharp wit and her love of life's simple joys. She found comfort and nostalgia in classic television - especially anything starring Michael Landon, including her favorites Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. A devoted Elvis Presley fan, Patricia never missed a chance to watch one of his films. She also had a unique passion for collecting clocks, delighting in setting them all to different times - a quirk that kept her family and friends both entertained and occasionally confused.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Charles Robert Davis, Jr. and Travis Wayne Davis; her brothers Albert Salmon, Jr., James Otis Salmon, and Phillip Anthony Salmon (Elizabeth); and her cherished pets - Bailey, a loyal pitbull, and Jackson, a playful boxer - who held a special place in her heart.
Patricia leaves behind a loving family: her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie Campbell (Charles); her granddaughter, Julie Daughtery (Taylor); her brother, William David Salmon; sisters-in-law Derah Davis-Parido (Cheryl), Katherine Wood, and Darlene Hazelwood; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Davis (Trisha). Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Cremation will take place afterward, in accordance with her wishes.
Patricia will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
