Charles Edwin Langley

Charles (Buck) Edwin Langley, 87, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 2025.He was born on July 10, 1938, to the late Joseph Bert and Esther Simpkins Langley. He was a retired Teamster, Local 413. He was a very long member of the CCCU. He grew up in a very large family and was preceded in death by his siblings James, Bert Jr., Mary, Josephine, Alice, Delma, and Kenny. He also preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Madelyn Ruth Bobo Langley.

He is survived by his loving daughters Tammy (Jim) Denney and Shelley (Wayne) Bensonhaver; 6 grandchildren: David (Samantha) Young, Ashley (Bob) Bailey, Timmy (Haley) Bevins, Jim (Jessica) Denney, Charles Denney, and Madison (James) Miller; 11 great-grandchildren: Abby, Evie, Shyanne, Maya, Ashton, Constance, Knox, Elliot, Lucas, Hayden, and Violet.

Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, December 17th, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at the O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, South High location, 1346 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18th, at 10:30 a.m. at the O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, South High location, 1346 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207.

Officiating pastors: Brett Dague and Steve Palmer.

Burial: Obetz Cemetery. Immediately following, we will gather at the Minnie Clark Fellowship Hall, 165 Mechanics St., for food and fellowship.
