Charles William Leaym

Mr. Charles William Leaym age 81, passed away, July 20, 2024 in Florida. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 16, 2024, at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI 48503. Family will receive visitors from 9:00 AM Monday until time of service at 11:00 AM. Deacon Michael Dear officiating. Immediately following the funeral home service, A United States Air Force Military Service will be held 12:30 PM, September 16, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Burial of his cremains at Greal Lakes National Cemetery. Charles was born April 30th, 1943, in Port Huron, MI to Harry Leaym and Veronica Morris. Chuck graduated from Kearsley High School (Flint, MI), in 1961 and enlisted into the U.S. Air Force immediately after. Serving his country for 8 years, Chuck was honorably discharged in 1969. Upon returning home, Chuck began his career at General Motors (Buick), where he would eventually retire. Chuck had a passion for golfing and bowling, but most importantly family. He consistently demonstrated a deep, selfless, and sacrificial love for all those close to him. Chuck's intellect, wisdom, and practical advice was beneficial to those who knew him, and his commitment to upholding integrity was uncompromising.
Lives to cherish his memory Two Daughters Rebecca (Leaym)Jenkins and Adelaida Leaym (both of Flint, MI), grandchildren Sheena Leaym (of Atlanta, GA), Joe Whiteside Jr. (of Gilbert, AZ), Jennifer (Gregory) Leaym-Lajewski, Isis (KiYana) Dudley-Thompson, Amanda Jenkins, Aaron Cooper and Joshua Jenkins (all of Flint, MI), great grandchildren Ayanna Watkins, Aniyah Leaym, Sarah Vliet-Leaym, Lilah Whiteside, Christian Judd, Braylon Whiteside, Tennessee Whiteside, Grace Lajewski, Aiden Fields, Akai Cooper, Douglas Hall, Julian Lajewski, Kelena Cooper, Korea Cooper, great great grandchildren Laylani Marchlowski and Tyler Griffith, sister Nancy (Ken)Lee, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by 2nd wife Schiniece Leaym, Mother Veronica Morris, Father Harry Leaym, Son Eugene Molina, Son Charles Leaym Jr., Son-In-Law Tracy Jenkins, Great grandson Joshua Belanger Jr.
