CHARLES WAYNE LUTTRELL
Charles Wayne Luttrell, 86, Centralia, MO passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Stuart House in Centralia, MO. He was born April 13, 1939, in Monroe County, MO the son of the late Frank and Thelma (McBride) Luttrell. On May 10, 1999, he was united in marriage to Mary Jean (Spurgeon) Luttrell.
In addition to his wife Jean of 26 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Charles “Pete” Luttrell and his wife Patricia of Hallsville, MO; one daughter Tammy Luttrell of Centralia, MO; two step daughters Dawn Skinner and Mark of Clark, MO and Denise Schultz and Brian of Hallsville, MO; two brothers Russell Luttrell of Madison, MO and John Luttrell of Centralia, MO; two sisters Rita McIntyre of the State of California and Donna Prewitt and her husband Clark of Centralia, MO; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends
Charles worked as a forklift driver for A.B. Chance Co for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, wood carving and woodworking. He loved travelling on cruise ships and has a total of over 500 days at sea.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Friday, November 21,2025 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. A graveside service will be 1:30 pm Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centralia Senior Center or to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
