Charles Herbert MacIntyre

Charles "Chuck" Herbert MacIntyre, age 91, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 20th, 2024. He was born on Monday, May 15th, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles D. and Helen MacIntyre.
Chuck is survived by his son Timothy (Laura) MacIntyre, grandchildren Ronald (Randi) Trombetti, Andreana Trombetti, Ryan MacIntyre, and Madeline MacIntyre. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita MacIntyre, daughter Christine Trombetti, son in law Ronald Trombetti Sr., sister Sylvia MacIntyre, brother William MacIntyre, and his parents.
After graduating from St. Joseph High School in 1952, Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army seeing two years of active service during the Korean War. Upon completing his service, he spent most of his career working for Carboloy, a subsidiary of General Electric. Chuck attended night school to earn a degree in Industrial Management from Lawrence Institute of Technology.
Chuck settled and raised his family in Warren, Michigan. He cherished his time spent with his family and his many friendships. Chuck was also an avid stamp collector. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling, especially a family trip to his native Scotland.
Funeral Thursday Instate 9:30am at St. Kieran Church 53600 Mound Rd. (btw. 24 & 25 Mile Rds.) until time of Mass at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The family would like to thank the staff at Assured Hospice and Bickford Assisted Living in Shelby for their care of Chuck in his last few years.
Chuck will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
