Charles Massey Obituary
Charles Eugene Massey, born January 21, 1943 in Cartersville, passed away on November 20, 2025. He is preceded in death by his father William Thomas Massey; mother Lucille Gatlin Massey; brothers Thomas Massey and Earl Massey; and sisters Nellie Worley and Ella Jo Daniels.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Massey; daughters Tammie Hamilton (Bill) and Gena McCauley (Joseph); grandchildren Jennifer (Patrick), Joseph (Naomi), Ethan and Sarah; one great-grandchild Cass; other special surviving family members include Ann Gray, John Bennett (Ellen), Lois Massey, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025 in the funeral home’s chapel with Reverend Barry Garland, Brother Charles Godfrey, and Joseph Fricks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jennifer Morgan, Patrick Nettlevine, Joseph Fricks, Joseph McCauley, Bill Hamilton and Gary Gray. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Massey and Bruce Ross.
Arrangements are provided by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
