I met Doc while attending UK and working part time at UPS. We began working out together at the Seaton Center on campus and then at a new gym called FORD's. We both bought the "Body by Ford" t shirts being sold at the front desk at the time. Doc was extremely fit and rode his bike everywhere. I remember he was living in an old caretakers house in a Lexington cemetery for a while back in the early 80's. We had many wide ranging conversations in the gym and he taught me a lot about lifting. You will be missed Doc. Always in a good mood and always smiling......So long brother.
