Finley Lawrence "Larry" Cisco, age 66, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1959, in Hazard, KY, to the late Robert Dale Cisco and Ann Keith Barnes Cisco Rogers. He loved God, his daughter, and his grand-dogs. He was an avid hiker, gardener, and musician. He was a standout athlete at Hazard High School, excelling in both baseball and football. He went on to play baseball and soccer for Georgetown College, where he was also a member of the Beta Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha.

After college, he worked for Peoples Bank and Trust of Hazard, KY; Smokey Gap Log Homes in Dallas, NC; and L.F.U.C.G. as a Building Inspector Supervisor before retiring in 2009.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Padgett Cisco of Charlotte, NC; his three sisters, Robin (Jack) Carrington of Mount Sterling, KY; Cindy (Andy) Sigmon of The Cathedral Domain; and Marian Cisco of Lexington, KY; five nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A visitation to honor the life and memory of Finley Lawrence "Larry" Cisco will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, KY, 40507. Private interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Finley's lifelong love for the outdoors and the Appalachian Trail, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
