Charles Wilson McDaniel II, age 63 of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Funeral services for Mr. McDaniel will be conducted on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 1PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Randy Daniels officiating.
Charles was born January 12, 1961, in Memphis, TN; the son of the late Robert Holland & Clydene (Hodge) McDaniel. He was a maintenance supervisor with Memphis Union Rescue Mission, and of the Presbyterian faith.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by three children, Charles McDaniel III (Elizabeth), Lindsay Moore (Chris), Lela McDaniel (Antonio); and four grandchildren, Maryann Olivia Moore, Avalynn Tucker, Christopher Blaine Moore, and Eleanor McDaniel. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Holland ‘Bobby’ McDaniel Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to the Memphis Union Mission (https://www.memphisunionmission.org/).
The family will receive friends from 11AM until service time. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Charles Wilson McDaniel II.
