Charles William "Bill" Michael Jr.

Cumberland, MD – Charles "Bill" William Michael, Jr. went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom he loved with his whole heart. Bill entered into divine rest and healing on January 7, 2026, after a long and hard-fought battle with a brain tumor and brain cancer.
Bill was born June 10, 1967, in Cleveland, OH, to Charles William Michael, Sr. and Shirley Ann (Ellifritz) Michael.
Bill was a member of Fresh Start Ministries in Cumberland, and also attended Souls Harbor Church in Cumberland.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Catherine Michael; his daughter: Kari Turri and husband, Mike; his son: Charles Michael, III. and partner, Tessa Harding; his daughter: Maryann Michael; his grandchildren: Estella, Gavin, Elijah, and Jeremiah Turri; Charles Summer, and David Michael; and Noah Carter; his sister: Connie Margiotta; his niece: Brooke; his nephews: Dusten, and Nicco; and his best man and best friend: Stoney Houldersheldt; as well as his special friend: Sherry Curry, and many others.
Bill was preceded in death by his sister: Veronica Michael; and his stepbrother: Tony Michael.
Bill enjoyed being a grandpa and loved all the kids, as well as hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastors Harry Copen and Betty Kennedy officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
