Charles Mitter grew up in Michigan. This is where he meets his wife of 53 years. He had 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his loving and devoted wife Bennie Mitter, his daughter Julie (Paul) Straker, his son Jeremy Mitter, his daughter the late Jenifer Richards, his grandchildren Jacob, Maxwell Madison, Morgan, Jack, Paul II, Aiden, Khloe, his brother Lorne (Marilyn) Mitter, his sister Linda (the late Carl) Martin, his sister in law Linda Hiter and his nieces/nephews Kaitlyn, Karley, David, Rhonda, Michael, Eric, Karen, Dee, Jay, Candy, Skylar and the late Lacritia.
Charles enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding his Harley. Charles enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Charles was an outgoing person. Charles would do anything for anyone. He was strong and fun and there was nothing he could not do.
Visiting will be held on Friday June 9th from 4pm- 7pm at Charles Step Funeral Home, 18425 Beech Daly, Redford MI 48240. Next day visiting on Saturday June 10th from 11am until a 1pm funeral service at Charles Step Funeral Home.
