On Sunday, September 14, Charles Philip Moraglia Jr peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by loved ones at his home.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, by his late parents, Charles Sr and Frances (nee Conte) Moraglia, Charles moved with his family to Willingboro in 1972. He was a patriot at heart and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Major in 1971. He began his military career in the radio division and was then accepted into Officer Candidate School. Upon graduation, he flew worldwide as a navigator in B-52's. As his family grew, he decided to stay close to them and made the decision to join the Air Force's Office of Special Investigation, eventually retiring after being the Department's Lead Officer at Plattsburgh and Riverside Air Force Bases. Following retirement with the Air Force, he continued working for our government at the Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia and finished his career as a private investigator. As a veteran, he participated in Memorial Day parades in Medford Lakes and was active with the VFW in his younger years.

Charlie was a loving, caring and generous person, loved by all who met him. Many thought of him as their dad, affectionately calling him Pop. He had the best sense of humor and cherished time with his family. For many years, Friday nights were enjoyed with friends playing cards, hauling that bag of dimes. He was an avid Yankee fan, never missing a televised game, and knew all the stats. His longtime friend and neighbor Harry knew he could call Pop for the answer whenever he was stumped by a crossword puzzle question pertaining to baseball.

More than baseball, Charlie loved his little dogs. He always had one or both on his lap, twirling their fur. He leaves behind Honey and Sweetie, who will miss him dearly.

Beloved father of Mari Miller, Patti Smith, Michael (Diane) Moraglia and Terri Turner; cherished grandfather of David (Mayumi), Virginia (Christopher), Willie (Ashley), Kelly, Michael Jr. (Kellie), Brennan, Brandon, Ashley, Bradley, Brayden, Jonathan (Lianna), Brodie and great grandfather of Jackson, Troy, Chloe, Penelope, Rafa, Mason and Ellie. Charles is also survived by the mother of his children, Helen Moraglia.

Family and friends are invited to attend Charles' viewing on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment and Military Honors at Park View Cemetery at Kirby's Mill, Medford, NJ.
