George A. Baggio

George A. Baggio, age 80, of Hainesport, NJ passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025 with his loving family by his side.

George was born on June 15, 1945 to the late Anna and Charles Baggio in Philadelphia, PA. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. George was a resident of Philadelphia and Delran before settling in Hainesport. He was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish in Delran where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. George retired from Girard Bank/Mellon Bank in Philadelphia after 33 years in banking operations. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. George loved spending time with his family in Sea Isle City and Brigantine. He was an American History buff, marched in the Mummers Parade with the Top Hat Club and enjoyed cooking Italian cuisine, especially his meatballs and gravy! George will be missed deeply by his loved ones.

George is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Irene (nee Gregoire); his daughters, Paula Ashton (Daniel) and Catherine Burke (Michael); his grandchildren, Jamy, Shane and Lucas Burke and Daniel, Kelly and Vincent Ashton; niece, Anita DiPalma (Peter) and nephews, Michael and Thomas Baggio (Jessica). George is predeceased by his siblings, Mary Jo Baggio, John Baggio and Thomas Baggio (Gerri).

Relatives and friends are invited to George's visitation on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 6PM-8PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 and again on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 9AM-10AM at Resurrection Parish, 260 Conrow Road, Delran, NJ 08075. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10AM. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
