The family of Barbara Maiello, affectionately known as Bobbie, of Southampton, NJ, announces her passing on September 15, 2025, at the age of 76, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Bobbie was born on March 16, 1949, and is preceded by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Fried of the Bronx, New York; her husband of 54 years, Patrick (July 2025); and her two siblings, Elizabeth and Henry.

Bobbie worked in the deli and restaurant industry, where she waited tables, served families and made new friends for many years. In her retirement, she and her husband, Patty, enjoyed caring for their grandchildren a few days a week during their early childhood years, which brought them both much joy and happiness.

Bobbie loved to travel, whether it was for a day trip or weeks at a time. She enjoyed overnight trips to Atlantic City, spending time at the Jersey Shore, visiting her brother and sister-in-law in Arizona, and spending a few weeks each year with her sister's family in Syracuse, NY, where she cherished time with her many nieces and nephews.

Bobbie also loved shopping and could spend hours browsing for a bargain. She had a sweet tooth and enjoyed her favorite treats throughout her life.

Throughout her years, it was very rare to see Bobbie without her husband, Patty, as she was a truly devoted wife. She expressed her love for family and friends in many ways, whether by visiting them to share joyful moments or showering them with gifts. Her two daughters were her pride and joy. Bobbie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed tremendously.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Maiello and Christina Pelehach, along with her son-in-law, Mark Pelehach. She is also survived by four grandchildren who were the light of her life: Haley, Alexis, Camryn, and Logan, as well as a large extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbara's visitation on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, located at 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, situated in Mount Holly, NJ, 08060.

In place of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Barbara's honor to her granddaughters' Relay For Life Team, which has been raising money for the American Cancer Society for the past two years. Please click on this link to access the team page.
