Charles T. Morgan, 78, of Hatfield, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Carol (Smith) Morgan, with whom he had been married to for 55 years.
Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late William R. and Helen K. (Abugelis) Morgan.
Chuck graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia in 1965. Shortly after on February 2, 1966, he joined the United States Army, until 1972.
After the Army, he went to work for Nice Ball Bearing in Kulpsville. He worked there for 38 years.
He was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church in Woxall, where he served as a Trustee.
He enjoyed bowling and was on the Tabor Church Bowling Team. He enjoyed watching Penn State football and the Eagles. Also, he enjoyed NASCAR racing and fishing.
Surviving along with his wife are his sons, Michael and his wife Shauna, Brian and his wife Rachel, and Darren and his wife Lori, ten grandchildren, a sister Lauri and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 6, at Tabor United Methodist Church, 2209 Hendricks Station Road, Harleysville, PA 19438, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Tabor United Methodist Church, PO Box 38, Woxall, PA 18979.
