Charles M. Muka

1932 - 2025

Charles M. Muka, 92, of Irwin, passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2025, in Irwin. He was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Sewickley Township to the late Charles and Mary (Loput) Muka. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred (Drazdik) Muka, in 1985; and by his sister, Patricia Muka. He is survived by his children, David S. (Diane) Muka of Irwin and Julie A. (David) Young of Monroeville; two grandsons, Joshua (Cayley Shirley) Young and Ryan Young; and his loving companion, Gladys Smeltz. A longtime Steelers fan, Charles was a 1950 graduate of Sewickley Township High School and worked for many years at Westinghouse in the Cheswick location. He enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, meticulously caring for his yard, and most of all, spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, in the funeral home, followed by burial at Irwin Union Cemetery, Irwin.
