Charles Bruce Nimmo, age 79 of Duluth died peacefully in his home on September 23, 2025. He was born in Duluth on March 17, 1946 to parents, Bruce and Betty (Brown) Nimmo. Charlie graduated from Duluth East High School and joined the Coast Guard. He continued his education at culinary school. He worked in the kitchen on various ships throughout the Great Lakes. His passion was cooking, but most of his working career was at UMD in facilities management. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce & Betty Nimmo; and brother, Robert Nimmo. He is survived by his son, Jabian; siblings, Don (Rebecca), David (Cathy), and Allan; beloved dog, Whim; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
