Charles Edwin "Bud" Nock, Jr., 82, passed away peacefully at Chesapeake Cottage Assisted Living on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1943, in Salisbury to the late Lucille and Charles Nock, Sr.

Bud served in the US Navy. He worked for many years as a salesman for Lowes Mobile Homes Division where he was a top salesman. Bud also owned his own contracting business and enjoyed woodworking. Bud built his own home from its foundation to completion.

Bud was a member of Snow Hill Christian Church where he had served as a deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria (Rogers); three children, Dana (Jim) Cody, Candace (Bill) Rutter and Charles "Chip" (Robin) Nock III; eight grandchildren, Jessica Cody, Justin Cody, Caitlin (Calvin) McCardell, Grace Rutter, Adam Rutter, Jamie (Lee) Donoway, Skylar (Josh) Coleman and Zachary Nock; 6 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Isabelle Redden, Lottie Lankford and Linda Figgs. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Mia; sister, Hermione "Sis" Ward; and brother, Samuel Nock.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Snow Hill Christian Church, 300 Park Row, Snow Hill, MD 21863. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or Wounded Warrior Project via their website, www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
