Patricia W. Bundick, age 90, of Pocomoke City, MD, passed away on July 21, 2025 at Hartley Hall Nursing and Rehab. Born in Pocomoke City on January 23, 1935 she was the daughter and only child of Raymond F. and Nadine J. Ward.
A lifetime resident of Pocomoke City, she graduated from Pocomoke High School in 1952. After graduating, she was employed as secretary for E.P. Matthews Produce for 10 years. Once she started her family, she was a devoted stay-at-home mom to her two children.
She was a member of Remson Methodist Church from childhood and later became a Sunday School teacher and member of the church choir. Upon marrying her husband, she became a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years and later became a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a faithful choir member until she developed an eye condition which caused her to lose sight; this condition limited her ability to do many of the things she enjoyed. In her younger days, she spent many hours roller skating, an activity which she loved to do.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Bundick; a daughter, Sharon Byrd (Danny) of Salisbury, MD; and two grandchildren, Mikaela L. Bodensick( John) and Cameron D. Byrd; as well as many aunts and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her only son, Dean Bundick, who died suddenly on January 4, 2021.
A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 204 4th St, Pocomoke City, MD 21851 on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 1:00pm. Terry Davis and James Area will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 204 4th Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851. Please visit www.hollowayfh.com to express condolences to the family.
