Charles Bennett Parker

Charles Bennett Parker, 97, of White Hall, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 29, 2025. He was born September 6, 1928 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Joseph and Leta Parker.
Bennett graduated from Bastrop High School in 1947 and went to work at International Paper Company October 4, 1947 at the urging of his father. He moved to the Pine Bluff mill in 1958 and held many positions until his retirement October 1, 1991 after 44 years of service. Bennett also worked for the Watson Chapel School District as a custodian and served many years as a coach and board member of the Western Little League. He was a faithful servant since 1958 of Pursuit Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Gloria Parker; sons, Jerry Lynn Parker and Mike Parker; daughter, Terri Renee Parker; four brothers; four sisters; and many other family members and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Wilson Ryburn Parker; son, Barry Parker; daughters-in-love, Judy Lowery (Charles) and Melissa Ryburn; stepdaughter, Jennifer Vaccaro (Aaron); nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Pursuit Church with Bro. James Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until funeral time Saturday.
