Charles "Kenneth" Patterson, 74, of Madisonville, TN passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 19, 2024 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors, riding the roads and hanging out with his friends, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He drove a truck for many years prior to retirement.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Mattie Patterson, one sister Cathy Burger, one brother Jerry Patterson and one sister-in-law Nancy Patterson.
Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter Sherry Patterson Solomon and her husband Harvey of Decatur, TN, one son Kenny Patterson, brothers and sister-in-laws Tommy Patterson, Edward & Susie Patterson and Peggy Patterson of Sweetwater, TN, four grandchildren Sadie McMurray, Layla Solomon, Audrey Patterson and Julia Patterson, one great granddaughter Nalissa Patterson and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
A special thank you to his (adopted) daughter Amanda King, Tootie Solomon, Harvey Solomon and Kay Pierce for all the help caring for our dad during his final days.
The family will received friends on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Athens Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN.
