Timothy Earl Hammock, (Earl T), age 65 of Sweetwater, Tennessee (formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio) left this world of woe to join Heaven's band, entering into his eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer. Earl will always be remembered for his love of music, writing, playing, and singing; Cincinnati Bengals football, and most importantly, his family. Earl was always quick with a joke and a smile, now this world isn't as bright without that smile and the songs will not be as sweet without his raspy singing voice as well as those guitar strings that will now lay silent.
Earl leaves behind a close knit family whom he was surrounded by in his last days. The family will dearly miss Earl's beautiful and meek spirit. Preceded in death by his Uncle Millard Singleton and Aunt Edna Harrington whom he was very close to. Earl was loved by so many.
Survivors include: Mother, Lena Lawson; Earl's son, Danny Hammock; granddaughter: Lena; grandsons: Tyler and Jonas; sisters: Tammy Moses, Renia Lunsford, Teresa Kettlehutt; brothers: David Lunsford, Phillip Lawson(Teresa); special nieces and nephews: Andy Lunsford, Angela Moses (Jacob), Sam Moses, Danielle Weinel, TaLena (Parker) Nash, Payton (Sierra), Brenden(Stephanie) and Charity Lawson; great nieces and nephews: Heidi, Nellie, Tessa, Ella, Jalen, Levi, Emma; a special Aunt Stephanie Singleton, many special cousins in Kentucky and Ohio that Earl grew up with; special friends: Sandy (Tony), Wayne(Jeannie), Janet and Randy, Rocky Lingold, Rob Long and all the Sweetwater VFW family.
