Charles E. Plum, 75, of Swansboro, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Born October 14, 1950, in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Joseph E Plum and EllaMae McFarland Plum.
Charles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his partner, Wendy Largen, two daughters, Jennifer Fout, Jacksonville and Kristen Plum, of Hagerstown; one grandchild, Jackson Zdziera; and one brother, Joseph Plum, of Martinsburg, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
After graduating from South Hagerstown High School, he spent his career in retail and then moved to his own business for over 20 years alongside driving school bus for the Berkeley County WV area.
Charlie’s wish was to spend eternity among the seas, so his ashes will be spread at Emerald Isle at a later date.
At his request, no service will be held. In lieu of funeral services, and to honor Charlie, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to your local SPCA.
