Charles is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Morgan of Maryville, Illinois and Jessica Wolf and husband, Chris of Wollongong, Australia; grandchildren, Cole Morgan and girlfriend, Kenzie Hendley of Lebanon, Tennessee, Cade Morgan and girlfriend, Bria Meyer of Maryville, Illinois, and Carter Morgan of Maryville, Illinois; nephews, Stephen Price of Clarksville, Tennessee and Daniel Price of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews on Sue's side of the family.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Price; and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Ruth Waite.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Marines and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Jefferson County Historical Society and was passionate about animals and his children and grandchildren. Charles will be deeply missed by all who loved and adored him.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 pm with Mr. John Nelson Wood, Mr. Marty Mills, and Mr. Bud Waite officiating. Memorials may be made in Charles' honor to Angels on Assignment Food Pantry.
