Charles G. "My Buddy" Racz

Charles George Racz passed away peacefully at Cadia Healthcare Capital in Dover, Delaware on Wednesday February 28, 2024. He was 67.
Charlie was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and was one of seven children. He grew up in Parsippany, NJ and graduated from Parsippany High School in 1976. Charlie was employed with Acme Supermarkets in Morris Plains, NJ for 16 years before moving to Delaware with his mother.
Charlie was the light of the Racz family. He always had a joke to tell or a song to sing. Everyone who had the gift of meeting Charlie has a great story to share about him. He touched so many lives in such a beautiful way. Charlie was the kindest soul to spend time with and we will miss his jokes, his singing and his beautiful smile.
Charlie was predeceased by his father, Zalton Racz.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Elsie; his sisters: Cheryl Galka and her husband, Frank, Melinda Norkis and her husband, Bill, Debbie Chionchio and her husband, Scott Rumer, and Diana Lommatzsch and her husband, Jim; his brothers: Oscar Racz and his wife, Linda and Joseph Racz and Marlene; Charlie is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Jessie and Rebecca Lauterbach, Melissa Lauterbach, Brian and Kimmy Patterson, Joey and Mikki Galka, Craig Galka, James Magnussen, Sia and Leah Hatamifar, Jenna and Carlos Bardor, Erica and Anthony Valvano, Kevin Rice Jr., Andrew and Amanda Rice, Thomas Racz, Joey Racz Jr., Amanda Racz, Edward and Mary Chionchio, Samantha Chionchio, Britt and Alfredo Castillo and Candace and Elvis Gabri. He also leaves behind his beautiful nieces and nephew's children who he loved unconditionally.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charlie's Funeral Service on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
