Charles Daniel Rempel born November 13, 1950 in Fowler, KS to Daniel and Ida (Buller) Rempel. He went to his Heavenly Home on October 7th, 2025.
He grew up in Hutchinson, KS. Charles had three passions in life. He loved dark chocolate and tried to make his way through Maida Heatter’s Chocolate Lovers Cookbook. He loved riding his bicycle and had a goal of riding across the US when he turned 50. He rode a good many miles across a number of states over the course of his life. He loved the Word of God. He read it. He studied it. He believed it.
He is survived by his wife Elvera (Ellie), daughter Heather (Lou) Tirogiannis, grandson Christopher of Yukon, OK, sisters Karon Rempel, Luetta Rempel, and Ruth Ross of Hutchinson, KS, sister in law Phyllis (Dale) Schroeder of Denver, CO, brother in law Richard Wieneke. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister in law, Priscilla Wieneke, his brothers in law Ken Ross and Paul Unrau.
Memorial Service to be held at Faith Bible Church, 600 N Coltrane, Edmond, OK on Monday, October 13th at 10:30 am. The service will also be live streamed through the Faith Bible Church website.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Tarahumara, The Dawnu, and Afghans of OKC through Faith Bible Church.
