Mr. Charles "Charlie Brown" Ray Robinson, age 79, of York, SC passed away at White Oak Manor of York on Thursday, February 15th, 2024.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1 PM - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy. York, SC. A celebration of life service will be held at Bratton Funeral Home Chapel immediately following the visitation.
Charles was born on January 9th, 1945 in York County, SC. He was the son of the late Albert and Genell Mason Robinson and was the husband of the late Nancy Oneal Robinson. He was the owner and operator of Charlie's Oasis in York, SC and a long-time employee of Fluor Daniels Insulation Company. He was a member of York Church of God and a veteran of the US ARMY.
Charles is survived by his 5 children: Nicole Perkins (Ken), Adam Robinson (Melody), Brad Robinson (Jennifer), Randy Parker (Paige), and Shannon Comer (Chris); his 12 grandchildren: Sharli Boatwright, Kolton Robinson, Triston Robinson, Chase Robinson, Ava Robinson, Alex Comer, Claudia Comer, Abby Comer, Shelby Comer, Stephanie Roberts, Kristopher Parker, and Brandon Parker. He is also survived by his 4 great grandchildren: Hayden Larkin, Kal Boatwright, Aubrey Robinson, and Shayla Robinson; and three brothers: Ronnie Robinson, Roy Lee Robinson, and Jimmy Robinson.
In addition to his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Whitney Robinson and his brother, Mickey Robinson.
