Charles (Charlie) Rose a beloved father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully January 15, 2026 with his loving daughters by his side. He was 89. Charlie was a man of few words with a big heart. His family was his world. Everything he did is his life was for his family.
Charlie was a proud father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and Marine. He did not have an easy life, but becoming a Sargent in the Marines and his humble upbringing shaped him into the man he was. He was a survivor in every sense of the word.
Charlie's passing will leave a void in the hearts he touched, but his kind spirit will inspire and guide us. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
Charlie is survived by his late wife Peg Rose, his loving daughters, Mary Ann White & husband Dave of Wareham, Carol Goldman & husband Chuck of Bridgewater, Donna Rosenfield & husband Dan of Bridgewater, his loving grandchildren, Heather Crittenden & husband Chad of Rochester, Sean Goldman & wife Elise of Rockland, Brett Goldman of Arizona, Carli Imprescia & husband Sal of Taunton, Haleigh Rosenfield & partner Colin Trahon of Weymouth, His cherished great grand children, Liam & Nolan Crittenden, Lucca & Capri Imprescia, his loving sisters and brothers, Charlene & Larry Gottlieb of Natick, Kathleen Buckley, Timothy & Rosemary Rose, Eileen & Paul Walsh all of Walpole, Colleen & Jack Kearns of Easton, Kevin & Janet Rose of Tewksbury, Daniel Rose of California. Brothers who past before him, Fred Rose, Harry Bowers. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Catholic mass on Wednesday January 21st at 10:30 at the Holy Ghost Parish, 518 Washington St., Whitman.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests any donations be made to The Home for Little Wanderers or Homeless Veterans Support.
