Charles (Chuck) Fred Rosenberg, age 86, of Plymouth, passed away on July 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Nessia Rosenberg, and brothers, Marvin and Avron Rosenberg. Survived by his wife, Caryn Rosenberg; children, Cynthia (Scott) Rosenberg Nelson, Lance (Kailen) Rosenberg, and Deborah (Darren) Rosenberg Charloff; grandchildren, Julia (Connor) and Maxwell Burke, Grant, and Audrey Nelson, Jack Rosenberg, Andrew Hanson, Alex Andrews, Hailey Schantzen, Alexandra, Maia, and Annamarie Charloff; sisters-in-law, Linda (Joe) Mankoff Romeo and Judy Rosenberg; and brother-in-law, Fred Mankoff. He graduated from North High School and the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Business. He was a serial entrepreneur, co-founding Crystal Farms, Caryn International, and Caryn Model & Talent, where he helped tens of thousands of young men and women find their true self-confidence and self-esteem. He was part owner of various ventures, including one of the first fractional ownership Jet companies, a Canterbury racehorse, and numerous real estate endeavors. He encouraged many others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, offering support and guidance along the way. He was admired for his loving nature, courage, generosity, patience, resilience, and big heart. His infectious smile, bright green eyes, and great eyebrows will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His family was his world, extending well beyond his bloodline. He lived each day with gratitude, faith, and a positive outlook helping and loving everyone he could. He belonged to many communities and was often seen cheering on his favorite Minnesota sports teams. He was a season ticket holder for the Minnesota Vikings since the late 60s and a 30+ year season ticket holder for the Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball team. He was an avid fisherman, traveler, golfer, tennis player, and boater, with a seemingly endless list of hobbies due to his genuine curiosity and zest for life. Even at the end, he found a way to make light, by accepting his journey with G-d and asking his doctors "How are the Vikes gonna do next year?" just to break the tension in the room. His passing is deeply felt by his entire family and the countless others who loved him in his wide network of community. He will be remembered for his loving spirit, boundless generosity, and fervor for life. We love you, Chuck. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time. Special thanks to his caregivers Carol, Geri, David F., David D., Carolyn, Rejoice, Physical Therapist Mike Bradbury, the Abbott Northwestern Hospital ICU Staff, and Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 5th, at Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave. S., Minneapolis.
