Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved parents Charles E. and Betty Schmidt, Sr. and his toddler sister, Cheryl Schmidt.
Dear brother of Carrie (Russ) Preisach of Turtle Creek, Cynthia Schmidt of Turtle Creek, Christine (Ronald) Liptak of Turtle Creek, Christopher (Nikki) Schmidt of North Huntingdon and many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was a1976 graduate of Norwin High School and was a retired roofing contractor and owner of C.E. Schmidt Roofing and Remodeling.
Chuck was a passionate motorcycle enthusiast. He continued riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle even after an accident that caused him to lose his lower leg.
He also enjoyed time in the woods hunting and playing a good round of golf.
There will not be a visitation or service.
Arrangements with Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).
