We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Charles Schofield, of Warminster on February 3, 2025. He was 68. He was born in Philadelphia on March 10, 1956 to the late Margaret Marie Werkheiser. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judykay Schofield (Longenbach) whom he married in 1976. Together they raised four children: Chanel Manuel (Spouse Jeff), Joseph Schofield, Michelle Smolin (Spouse Jay), and Karen Schofield (Spouse Kenny). Charles was a loving husband, father, brother, best friend, and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time spent with each of them. They brought so much joy to his life. Jordyn, Logan, Jacob, Jason, Jayden, and Trevor: POP POP LOVES YOU!
He is also survived by his dog...his best friend Sadie Girl and his grand dog Kimber. He adored his family's two previous dogs, the late Snoopy and the late Bandit.
Charles was raised and educated in Philadelphia. Before meeting the love of his life Judykay, he was a very involved volunteer firefighter with the Trevose Fire Department.
During his work years, Charles was a hard-working man and dedicated employee with Hi Associates for over 25 years and later worked at Ann's Choice as a maintenance technician. He took great pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues for his strong work ethic, attention to detail and being able to fix anything.
In his free time, he was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed camping, riding in his scanoe, and fishing. He also loved collecting firearms and planting the best tomatoes in his garden. He was known for his kindness, generosity, patience, selflessness, and infectious smile, which brought joy to all who knew him. He was a man of very few words, but made an impact to all who were lucky enough to have met him.
Charles leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and determination. He will be deeply missed and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and Friends are invited to Charles' Life Celebration on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. until his Funeral Service begins at 4:00 P.M at the Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster. Interment will be private.
