He was born in Columbus, OH on July 18, 1938 to the late William P, Sr. and Eva Jane (Mathews) Shinall.
Charles is survived by two sisters: Nancy L. Paul, Piqua, OH and Donna M. Downs, Piqua, OH; one brother and sister-in-law: William P, Jr. (Carol) Shinall, Piqua, OH. He was preceded in death by one sister: Barbara Mullins.
Charles attended Brown Township Schools in Fletcher, OH. He was a member of the Piqua Church of the Nazarene. Charles was a truck driver for Bennett Motor Express for 5 years and he also delivered motor homes for Dallas Moser for 5 years. He enjoyed going fishing, story telling and eating.
A time to honor Charles's life will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday March 6, 2025 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.melcher-sowers.com.
