Charles D. 'Chuck' Sine Jr., 63, of Knoxville, TN, loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle, died suddenly, Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was born December 12, 1961, in Kingsport, TN, the son of Charles D. Sine, Sr. and Grace Anna Sine.
Chuck has been a resident of Knoxville, TN since 1980. He was employed in the insurance industry for several years followed by Ruby Tuesdays Corporation. Chuck was currently a Senior Project Manager at Pilot Company.
He was a member of Church Street United Methodist in Knoxville.
Chuck was best known for being a kind, compassionate, giving and loving person. He was happiest when helping others and spent his time volunteering with Fantasy of Trees for several years. He was also a former member and officer of the Knoxville Ski Club. Chuck was a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee who enjoyed attending Tennessee sporting events. His most cherished time was the time he spent with his family and longtime friends. Chuck had a deep love for all dogs, but his deepest love was for his chocolate lab Kirby, who was well known for his unbelievable antics.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. 'Buddy' Sine Sr.
Chuck Sine is survived by his mother, Grace Anna Sine; his sisters, Polly Sine Wehmann and her husband John, and Pamela Sine Degges and her husband Tom; nieces and nephew, Kirsten Jones (Mike) and son Thomas, Morgan Leonard (Rob) and son Roe, and Harrison Wehmann.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. with visitation immediately following, at Church Street United Methodist, with Rev. Catherine Nance officiating.
