Charles Robert Sistek

Charles Robert Sistek, age 79, passed away suddenly on October 8, 2024. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 10, 1945 to the late Charles and Elsie Sistek.
Charles was the devoted husband of Judith Sistek for 58 years; a loving father of Chuck (Lisa), Ann, Lanie (Raul), and Shelley (Harold); proud grandfather of Chuck, Michael, Jeffery, Hailey, Jesse, Shane, Chase, and Blake; caring great grandfather of Lilly, Landin, Charley, and Jackson; cherished brother of Shirley Blewitt; and an uncle to many more.
Charles leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment. As a supervisor at Cuyahoga County, he impacted the lives of many through his dedication and leadership. Whether it was guiding his team or spending time outdoors, Charles approached life with a sense of purpose and determination. He was a quiet man who embraced the simple joys of life. He often enjoyed tending to his yard, and would feed the birds, deer, and other wildlife around him. Though he may be physically gone, the memories of his kind heart and hardworking nature will forever live on in all those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we reflect on his life, let us remember the joy he brought to others and the legacy of love he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts.
