Charles "Chuck" Wesley Smith
age 79, of Park Falls, died on Sunday February 9, 2025, at Howard Young Memorial Medical Center in Woodruff. He was born on June 2, 1945, in Chippewa Falls, WI, the son of Rexford and Frances (Ryman) Smith. His early life and schooling were in Chippewa Falls. In 1987 he married Deborah Seurer and the couple moved to Park Falls. Charles owned and operated a recycling business in Park Falls and enjoyed fishing, ginseng hunting, antique collecting, woodworking, and being in the woods collecting forest products. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Deborah of Park Falls, (8) children: Tammy Boss-Appel, Hank Smith, Wes Smith, Lisa (Sean Davidson) Smith, Tommy (Cathy Lenfestey) Smith, Adam Smith, Jessica (Ben) Hartmann, Mariah (Joe Hinkle) Smith, his siblings: Doris, Roberta, Larry, and Gary, his grandchildren: Ashley, Michelle, Angie, James, Misty, Shae, Aaron, Amber, Amara, Kaya, Sean, Reese, Beau, Kaiden, Lita, Maverick, Archie, Mavis, and Georgie, and many great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lynn Smith, and siblings: Bernice, Carol, Richard, Clarence, Arlene, and Roy.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
