Charles Joseph Spohn - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died January 13, 2024 after a long illness.
Always proud of his humble beginnings, and Flint roots, he lived simply through his final days. He was proud of his years at GM Fisher Body plant #1 and then Buick City. He formed many lifelong friends, and he knew no strangers. His final months were at Ridge/Pines of Lapeer. The family is so grateful to all of the staff & residents for the love and care he knew while there.
These he left behind, will remember his kind, gentle manner, and dry humor, daughters, Larraine (Glenn), Kim, Julie, Celeste (Dave); the many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Martha, special nieces, nephews and so many more.
He looked forward to joining those he loved, and is now in heaven with wife, Marilyn; daughter, Teresa; son, Scott; and the many siblings and friends that went before him.
Live simply and be kind.
Those wishing to honor his life, memorials can be made to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek, or Paradise Animal Rescue, Lapeer.
