He was born August 14, 1947, at home in Troy, TX to William Norwood and Adela Alma Spohn of Troy. Larry attended Troy High School. He was a farmer and gardener.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dwayne Spohn, Donald Spohn and a sister Willa Dean Irish.
Survivors include a sister Barbara Spohn of Troy, TX.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple with Mike McMurtry officiating. Larry will be buried in Roberts Cemetery in Troy following the service. The family will be accepting visitors on Monday evening between the hours of 5 and 7 o'clock p.m. at the funeral home.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
