Charles Stanley Kimbrell, age 63, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Charles was born Wednesday, August 15, 1962 in Burke County to the late Charles Kimbrell and Phyllis Moore Kimbrell. He was a truck driver most of his life. Charles enjoyed listening to Country Music and playing the guitar. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed listening to preaching on the radio. His greatest passion was being out in the yard with his grandkids. Charles was a fighter to the end!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Larry Kimbrell.
Those left to cherish his memory include his life partner, Bonnie Reid; sons, Paul Green and Michael Green; stepchildren, Heather Reid and Jonathon Reid; grandchildren, Charles Benson Green, Colton Springs Green, Kinsley Gantt and Isabel Gantt.
In honor of his wishes, there will be no formal services conducted.
