Charles Eugene Strickland, 56, of Decatur, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. Charles was born on October 8, 1967, in Fort Riley, Kansas. He was a dedicated member of Boanerges Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar Lee Williams and Mae Williams; and his great grandparents, Frank Williams, and Ollie Williams.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Deborah Strickland; children, Christopher Strickland, and Colton Wilson; his mother and step father, Elsie and Phillip Suttles; his two step daughters, Niki (Roberto) Garcia, and Shana Mathis; granddaughter, Adeline Strickland; his half-brother, Sonny Strickland; and half-sister, Gena Strickland; special cousin, Mike Martin; special friend, Tina Clayton and family; Special aunts, Barbara (James) Stapp, and Lillian (Pete) Marr; and his cousin, Jimmy Stapp; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor David Disney officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at McInturff Cemetery at 11:00 am.
