Karen L. Curren, devoted and cherished wife of Randy Curren, formerly of Lincoln Park, MI passed away peacefully at home in Cleveland, TN after a hard-fought battle with several illnesses. Karen's beloved husband and best friend was by her side through it all.

She loved animals, especially her rescued dogs and cats. Karen enjoyed gardening, camping, bowling, family vacations and a good cup of coffee. Bird watching brought her great peace and joy throughout the ups and downs of life.

Karen was not a "Karen" She was in fact extremely kind, loving, intelligent, thoughtful and giving.

Karen was a proud graduate of Airport High School in Carleton, MI. She especially enjoyed Home Economics and English. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed trying new recipes. Her lasagna was amazing and she made the best pumpkin pie.

Karen had a special ability to give people confidence and made those around her feel safe and loved.

Preceded in death by her parents George and Marge Oliver, Father-in-Law Norman Curren, Grandson Auston Stewart.

Karen is survived by her husband Randy Curren, Mother-in-Law Glenna Curren, Daughter Shana (Jimmie) Creech, Lisa Curren (Joe Lavictoire), Grandchildren Tyler (Fantasy) and Katheryn Creech, Kayden and Maddox Lavictoire. She leaves three sisters to cherish their family memories. Kathy (Jack) Halverson, Janet (Glen) Brannen, Christine (Kenny Melchor) Parker. As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Michigan.
