Christopher Scott Henson

Christopher "Scott" Henson, 47, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Scott was born on November 20, 1977 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Known by many as the life of the party, Scott had a larger-than-life personality. In his spare time, Scott could be found under the hood of a car, getting his hands dirty and enjoying every minute of it. He loved anything with four wheels and an engine-unless it was a Ford. His passion for cars was only rivaled by his love for sports, especially when cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. Most of all, he cherished time spent with those he loved, especially when it involved good conversation and the glow of a fire. Scott was an incredible father and devoted son. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grand parents, Gerald W. Hood Sr. and Midge H. Marler.

Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Marisa L. Henson and Michael S. Henson; and his mother, Debra H. Shirley; along with a host of extendedd family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Reverend Kurt Benson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Companion Funeral Home in Scott's name to assist with funeral expenses.
