Mary Renee McCarter Woodby, of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 68. Renee was born on November 12, 1956, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late William and Nelda McCarter. Renee was known for her infectious personality, lighting up any room she walked into. She enjoyed dancing and carried a deep admiration for music throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Woodby.
She is survived by daughter, Jessica Woodby Denema and her husband, Pete; grandson, Job Woodby; brother, Nathan McCarter; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home - The Mack Shelton Parlor located at 2412 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, TN 37311.
Following the visitation, family and friends are invited to go in procession to Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN, for a graveside service at 12:30 PM.
