David G. Curren, age 93, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Arbor Trace Family-first Senior Living.
Born July 19, 1932, in Elmira, New York, to George Henry Curren and Sarah Elizabeth Isaacs Curren, David lived in this community since 1964. He proudly served in the U. S. Army and retired from NATCO. David was a long-term member of the Richmond Elks and was also a member of the American Legion Harry Ray Post 65. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and bowling. David loved spending time with his family and going out to eat.
Survivors include his children, Brion (Amy) Curren, Elaine (Gary) Turner, Bob (Kim) Ladd, Shay Ladd Baney, Kathy (Will) Beam, and Kristine (Jim) Green; grandchildren, Greg (Sarah) Turner, Melissa Turner, Whitney (Aza Harris) Rivard, Dylan (Michael) Rivard, Cameron Ladd, Meg (Heath) Dill, Addison (Shelby) Curren, Gabrielle (Logan) Fields, Aidan Curren, Joe Graham, Alexa Lindquist, Gillian Wing, Alivia Green, Molly (Kalob) Friend, Ian (Sarah Hollowell) Holt; great grandchildren, Emmie, Kai, Luca, Stephanie, Charlie, Max, Rylan, Julian, Emma, Easton, Cohen; brother, Lawrence Curren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Scott Curren; stepson, Larry Graham; granddaughter, Olivia Beam; 1st wife, Geraldine M. Brion Curren; 2nd wife, Martha Jane Rickels Curren; sister, Jane Paul; brothers, Richard and Donald Curren.
Visitation for David G. Curren will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Earlham Cemetery.
