Jessie Renee (Mote) Curren, 34, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family and friends.
Jessie was born on October 22, 1990 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Larry Robert "Bob" Mote and Marty Rose Jackson. She attended Clayton High School in Clayton, Oklahoma. She later went on to attend nursing school at Platt Community in Moore, Oklahoma obtaining her LPN license.
Jessie enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, listening to music or playing games. Helping a friend in need but most importantly being an amazing mother to her two children Denise Rose Curren and Rebel Joe Robert Curren.
She is survived by her mother, Marty Rose Jackson of Wewoka; sisters, Billie Mitchell of McAlester, and Bobbi Jo Mote of Hartshorne; brothers, Ronnie Joe Mote and wife Whitney of Hugo, and Zach Mote and family of Wilburton; nieces, Kassie Jane Mitchell and Brandy Barber; nephew, Waylon Mitchell; second dad, Donald Haggard of Haileyville; uncle, Ralph Mote and numerous extended families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry R. Mote; brother Jeffery Jackson; grandparents, Hugh Mote and Beulah Mote; grandmother, Marty Wood Billy-Jackson; niece, Karma Rose Scott and several uncles.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel with Brandy Barber officiating.
Viewing will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bryce Ellis, Ronnie Mote, Bill Curren, Richard Montgomery, Waylon Mitchell and Donny Haggard.
Jessie lived her life with kindness and always provided for those she loved and even those she didn't know. Her presence and her smile will be missed by so many. We will always love you, Jessie Renee. Rest in Peace Bootz.
