Charles Craig Thibodeaux, 64, of Lake Charles passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in his residence.
Mr. Thibodeaux was born on March 25, 1960 in Lake Charles and remained rooted in his hometown throughout his lifetime. He was a proud graduate of LaGrange High School. Mr. Thibodeaux began his career as a painter and later transitioned into the realm of residential and commercial electrical work.
His passion for cooking was matched with his reputation of a true jack of all trades.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sharen Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; stepchildren, Jerimiah Cormier of Lake Charles, Sommer Fontenot of Austin, TX, and Amanda Pappillion (Glen) of Lacassine; his mother, Juanita Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; sister, Susan Hohensee (Randy) of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren; nephews, Brad Anderson (Ashley) of Columbia, MS and Chad Hohensee (Amanda) of Lake Charles; and numerous friends and extended relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Joseph Thibodeaux.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Deacon Anthony Pousson will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
