Charles Terryl Veeneman (Terry) 78, of Louisville, Kentucky died Monday, March 27th, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Terry had a twin (Tommy), they were born on April 11th, 1944, in Three Rivers, Michigan to the late William H. Veeneman JR. and the late Jeanne Weir Veeneman. Terry was of the Catholic faith and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College before enlisting into the Navy in 1969. While serving in Vietnam he received the Combat Action Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was the previous owner and operator of Whispering Hills Country Club. He was preceded in death by his brothers William H. Veeneman III (Billy) and Thomas Dale Veeneman (Tommy). He was a proud Kentucky Colonel. Terry loved spending time on Klinger Lake with family and friends. His funny heart lives on in those who follow. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Hamilton (Betsy), his children Elizabeth Courtney (Sam) Englert, Margaret Nicole (Kelly) Hendricks, Charles William Hunter (Sarah) Veeneman. Along with his four grandchildren Dalton Lee, Payton Alexis, Beau Taylor Hendricks, and Libby Lin Englert. As well as several nieces, nephews and beloved extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday March 31st, 2023, from 4pm - 7pm at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Ln. His funeral service will be held on April 1st, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel at Pearson's. Burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School
Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's. "Where Louisville Goes To Remember".
