Charles "Charlie" "Butch" "Chooch" Wiley, 74, of Ingalls, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 26, 1951, in Anderson to Robert C. and Betty Frances (Thompson) Wiley. Charlie loved riding his motorcycle, going to car shows and going out to eat. He fiercely loved his grandchildren.

Charlie worked at the former Lau Industries also at Brookside Corporation and eventually retired from Hancock Regional Hospital as a Maintenance Technician.

Charlie is survived by his wife Becky (Ortel) Wiley, whom he married August 20, 2005, sons: Charles (fiancé Sarah Perry) Wiley, Jr. and Brad (Lori) Wiley, daughter Lori Whittaker; grandchildren Chelsea, Charlotte, Chaise, Felicity, Alyssa, Evelyn, Emersyn, Dayton, and Majesty, great grandchildren Mia, Chloe and Elaina, sister Sandra (Ken) Wiley-King, Bob (Carolyn) Wiley as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral to celebrate Charlie's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, New Palestine, Indiana.

Memorial contributions in Charlie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
