Age 89 was born March 20, 1933 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to the late Frank and Agnes. Beloved husband of Barbara for 67 years. Loving father of Kathy (Mark) Swaim, Carole (Mark) Bauer and C. David Wilkowski. Proud grandfather of Kevin Swaim, Eric Swaim, Shannon (Trevor) Hough, Ryan (Justynn) Bauer, Nathaniel Wilkowski, Kyle Wilkowski and great grandfather of Lucas and Julia. Dear brother of the late Frank and Arthur. He was also an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was an avid boater who spent time at the Algonac Harbor Club. He was known for treating his friends and family to many boating adventures. Chuck also enjoyed traveling with Barb after retiring from boating. They took many fun trips with both old and new friends they met along their travels. Most recently, Chuck enjoyed spending time touring Detroit with his neighbors and playing a rousing game of cards. Chuck was very savvy with technology and loved working on his computer and with the newest electronic gadgets.
Visitation Tuesday 1:00 -5:00 pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica. In state Wednesday 9:30 am until the time of the service 10:00 am at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 53600 Mound Road Shelby Township. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.stkieran.org. Memorials appreciated to the American Heart Association or St. Kieran Catholic Church.
