He was a resident of Calera, Oklahoma for 4 years, but was previously a longtime resident of Whiteland, Indiana. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, did 2 tours in Vietnam and served 6 years in the Air National Guard. He worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic.
Charles enjoyed auto racing, aviation, and enjoyed spending time with his son and grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles O. and Billie C. Williams.
He is survived by his son George Williams and wife Amber of Durant, Oklahoma; stepdaughter Beth Willcox and husband Robert of Wabash, Indiana; grandson Ayden Williams of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters Suzanne (Williams) Prescott of Phoenix, Arizona, Rhys Shapiro of Mooresville, Indiana; numerous other grandchildren as well other extended family and friends.
Cremation services have been selected.
